10. team. 60.
The Minnesota Vikings are in an interesting situation. On one hand, the Vikings are sitting at 8-4 and should be very happy to be in the sixth seed of the NFC playoff picture, with the closest team on their tail being the 6-7 group of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.

There seems to be very little to worry about for the folks in purple and gold, especially with the Chicago Bears coming into TCF Bank Stadium this Sunday for a visit. However, the playoff picture is not exactly shaking out the way the fans in the Twin Cities had hoped. The Seattle Seahawks have the Cleveland Browns and St. Louis Rams coming into town for each of the next two weeks. With wins in both games, the Seahawks would clinch the No. 5 seed (at worst) should the Vikings lose to either the Bears or New York Giants at home, or the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 17.

Odds are, Minnesota will be the third seed and either face the Packers or Arizona Cardinals away from home. That is a very daunting task for any team, let alone a young one like the Vikings.
. (8-5). Previous: . minnesota vikings
