team. 36.
It seems the Seattle Seahawks have a set trajectory that they follow from year to year in this Pete Carroll era. They start soft, get everyone to doubt them and then explode in the latter half of the season and ‘get hot’ at the right time.

This is how Seattle made it to the Super Bowl in 2013, it’s how they surged in 2014 and it’s probably how they’ll get to the Super Bowl again in 2015. You just need to be hot at the right time — cliche or not — and the Seahawks seem to be better than any team in the NFL at doing this.

Just when you count them down and out they come surging back like we’ve seen them do this season. They’re back in the playoff picture, gained ground on the Vikings with a win over Baltimore and have landed in a position where they might host a playoff game if the Cardinals slip up late in the year. There’s no guarantee that this will happen, but history is once again repeating itself as the Seahawks slowly build at the end of the year as they prepare to explode in the postseason the way we’ve watched for what is now possibly three years running.
.
