7) San Diego Chargers – Tom Telesco

The San Diego Chargers are a disaster and they can thank general manager Tom Telesco for it. Telesco came in before the 2013 season with the notion of getting younger and more talent, but nothing has gone to plan. His hire of Mike McCoy for head coach has proven to be uninspired and the draft picks have not performed outside of cornerback Jason Verrett.

Telesco was able to lock up quarterback Philip Rivers on a four-year extension, but he surrounded him with bums and aging stars. When you have a quarterback with the talent of Rivers, the team needs to be building up the offensive line and defense, allowing Rivers to turn his weapons into better than average players.

Instead, the defense has been absolutely terrible, and mostly because Telesco has not even attempted to put a real front seven together. The offensive line is a complete wreck and has not been addressed in recent drafts despite it being a consistent problem. Telesco is probably out at the end of the season while the team moves to Los Angeles, getting a new lease on life. Meanwhile, Telesco will have some time to reflect on the horrific job he has done.
