3. Josh Norman

Norman has been a very solid cornerback for the Carolina Panthers since being taken out of Coastal Carolina in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Norman has mostly flown under the national radar, but with Carolina sitting at 13-0 and Norman being the second-best player on the team behind Luke Kuechly, he is finally getting his just due.

Norman is showcasing a blend of size and speed, although Norman is only 6-foot-0 and 195 pounds. It is really about his outstanding ability to climb the proverbial ladder, getting up to challenge some of the taller receivers. When Norman goes against players like Dez Bryant, he can match them because of his athletic ability and outstanding technique.

Expect Norman to command a ton of money. The cornerback is going to be looking for more money than top corner Byron Maxwell got, when he was signed by Philadelphia last season for six year and $63 million. Between being a mch better player than Maxwell and having the salary cap increase, look for Norman to crack the $70 million barrier with around $40 million guaranteed.

The Panthers are going to do all they can to keep him, perhaps even throwing the franchise tag on the 28-year-old. The only issue is keeping other players happy, with men like Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly already getting hefty pay checks (or in the case of Kuechly, about to be getting a hefty check).
