4. Eric Berry

At this time last year, Berry had just found out that he had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Berra was facing the challenge of his young life, hoping to beat cancer before his 26th birthday. Berry was taken with the fifth-overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft out of the University of Tennessee, and had starred for the Kansas City Chiefs out of the gate, making the Pro Bowl as a rookie.

After blowing out his ACL in the first quarter of the first game in 2011, Berry returned to play lights out football in 2012 and 2013, making both the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro team. Last year, Berry was limited with an ankle sprain before being diagnosed with cancer.

This season, Berry somehow made it back for the first training camp practice while gaining a pound throughout his chemotherapy. He has been nothing short of sensational, racking up two interceptions and being a physical force both in the pass and run game. Without Berry, the Chiefs would not be 8-5, let alone in the conversation for a playoff spot after starting 1-5.

Look for there to be a very nice market for Berry, although it would be shocking if Kansas City did not find a way to retain its leader and fan favorite.

Market: San Diego, Miami, Dallas, Tennessee
