Cameron Artis-Payne-Carolina Panthers (6.2%)

The top pickup for this week is Cameron Artis-Payne who filled in well for the Panthers this week playing for the injured Jonathan Stewart.  Stewart missed week 15 with a foot injury, and Carolina will likely limit his touches in the next two weeks even if he does return as they prepare for their probable #1 seed in the NFC.

In Stewart’s absence rookie Cameron Artis-Payne rushed 14 times for 59 yards. He didn’t start (Mike Tolbert did) or lead the team in rushing (some guy named Cam Newton did), but he did have the most carries and showed more spark in his work than Tolbert or fantasy disappointment Fozzy Whittaker.

If Stewart is out this week or even limited, Artis-Payne will be worth a look against the Falcons and Bucs in the last two weeks of Carolina’s run to perfection.
