Ricky Rubio makes sweet no-look pass to Gorgui Dieng (Video)

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio made Brooklyn Nets defenders look silly with a sick no-look pass to Gorgui Dieng.

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio may not be the best shooter in the world, but he’s certainly one of the best passers in the world, as he is always faking out defenders with sick passes to set his teammates up for open looks on the court.

Against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, Rubio made one of his sickest passes yet, when he made a nice no-look pass to Gorgui Dieng, which had the Nets guarding the wrong big man.

With Karl Anthony-Towns rolling to the hoop, it looked like Rubio was going to hit him with a pass down low. Instead, Rubio hit the man he wasn’t even looking at, Dieng, with a no-look pass that was absolutely filthy.

Dieng would pick up his point guard by finishing off the sweet assist that he had just been fed, by going strong to the hoop and slamming home the pass.

Watching Rubio pass is like watching a clinic on how to pass the basketball. His handles are smooth and he knows where his players are going to be on the court at all times. He didn’t have to look at Dieng to know where he was on the court.

It paid off in the amount of two points for Minnesota.
