2. Buffalo Bills

Despite the promise that the Buffalo Bills had coming into the 2015 NFL season, they have been wildly disappointing this year for a number of reasons. Their defense hasn’t been nearly at the level that people thought it would be, injuries have affected their offense, and they’ve simply just played down to competition for most of the years. Against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16, all of that is a bit of concern.

It’s not wholly unimportant that the Bills have lost to NFC East teams in each of the past two weeks. While the Cowboys are decidedly the worst team in that division this season (thanks Matt Cassel), the fact that Buffalo has struggled so much against the division isn’t a great look heading into this game. Moreover, the one thing that the Cowboys can still do decently well is run the ball and the Bills have been a mediocre run defense all season.

However, the biggest reason that an upset is possible in this game is the simple fact that the Bills are going to be without their greatest weapon on Sunday afternoon in star running back LeSean McCoy. They could have Karlos Williams for this game, but that’s still proven to be not nearly as effective as having McCoy in this rush-heavy offense. With the game more in the hands of Tyrod Taylor, I think everything is laid out for the Cowboys to pick up a surprising win in Week 16.
