player. 10.
The Houston Texans are another team in a bad division that might just squeak into the playoffs. With no consistent quarterback play, having them in this position would be considered a long shot in any other year. With that in mind, Bill O’Brien must reunite himself with Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg.

While some don’t see the potential for Hackenberg, I refer them back to his freshman tape in Bill O’Brien’s pro-style offense. When he has the type to stand in the pocket and deliver that beautiful deep ball, he’s as good of a quarterback as any. Imagine Hackenberg throwing a ball up for DeAndre Hopkins. It would be a great connection and the fans in Houston won’t get enough of it.

Yes, the accuracy is a little rusty with Hackenberg, but working under a quarterback guru can only help. He has been able to cut down on his turnovers, which is a great sign. He’s also the toughest quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft, as he stood behind a turnstile of an offensive line and never missed a game.

The reuniting of these two Penn Staters is only meant to be. O’Brien clearly was holding out for him by signing Brian Hoyer last year and failing to draft anyone in 2015. If anyone can make this happen, it’s O’Brien.

Previous Pick: Christian Hackenberg, QB
. Quarterback. Penn State. Christian Hackenberg. 26
