High Value SG

Lou Williams-Los Angeles Lakers (5,400): Williams hit a snag at the end of December with three stinkers in a row, but he has righted the ship lately and returned to solid production.  He has posted 28.5, 31, and 37.5 fantasy points in his last three games including a dominant performance on New Years Day against his former team from Phily.  In that game he had 24 points to go with five assists and four rebounds.  He’ll get his shots off tonight agains the Suns and is in a nice matchup against one of the worst defensive backcourts in the league.  If you pass on Wall and Knight, he’s the next best option if you can afford him.

Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (4,800): Crabbe has taken advantage of his opportunity to move into the starting lineup while Damian Lillard has been sidelined. He has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last seven games and has six games of at least 18 fantasy points over that span. He had 20 points against the Nuggets when the two teams met on Wednesday, and he’ll be in a place to continue his strong production especially if Lillard is still sidelined tonight. With Lillard-, Without Lillard-

Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (4,200): If you have to go cheap at SG, Booker is the way to go even though he played 42 minutes last night against the Kings.  He finished with 21 points, four steals, and three assists for 35.25 fantasy points. It looks like coach Jeff Hornacek is ready to give the 19-year old rookie from Kentucky all the minutes at SG which will make him a good option against the Lakers tonight who allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing SG. ∗∗∗ (Booker’s five-star rating is mostly due to how much upside he has at such a bargain and how little he would have to do to return value at just 3,600)
