High Salary PF

Chris Bosh-Miami Heat (7,500): After Kenneth Faried’s scary neck injury last night, Chris Bosh is the only PF over 6K expected to play tonight.  Bosh has been playing well averaging 20.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists over his last ten games.  He also had a good game when the Heat played the Wizards earlier this season finishing with 18 points, nine boards, four assists, two blocks, and a steal.  He has at least 30 fantasy points in five straight games including three games with over 47 fantasy points.

Bosh and Dwyane Wade have been carrying the Miami offense, and they’ll continue to do that tonight against the Wizards.  Washington’s rotations could leave Bosh in a mismatch since Washington lacks a true power forward. However, his rebounding numbers may be down a little if he gets pulled away from the basket to guard a three-point threat like Dudley or Porter.  I expect a solid game from Bosh even if he doesn’t approach a double-double due to lack of rebounds. ∗∗

Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (5,600): Randle opened the new calendar year with 15 points and nine rebounds against the 76ers as he continues to come off the bench for LA. He had only six points and five rebounds against the Suns in their first meeting, but is averaging 12.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game over his last five. He has a limited ceiling due to his  role off the bench, but he’s the second-most expensive and second-best option at PF on today’s limited schedule. ∗∗
