High Value PF

Jon Leuer-Phoenix Suns (5,600): Leuer returned yesterday after missing a game with a bad ankle.  Even in his absence, Markieff Morris picked up a DNP-CD, so don’t look for Markieff to be stealing playing time from Leuer tonight against the Lakers.  Leuer only played 17 minutes yesterday but did have a quick 11 points and four rebounds.  If he returns to the starting lineup, he’ll be in a good place to succeed tonight against the Lakers.

Larry Nance Jr.-Los Angeles Lakers (4,100): Nance has at least 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games and finished Friday’s game with 14 boards to go with his eight points.  He isn’t playing a ton of minutes, but he’s starting over Julius Randle and doing solid work on the glass.  He’s a gamble at PF, for sure, but against the Suns he should be able to produce a solid value return.

Darrell Arthur-Denver Nuggets (3,900): Arthur will likely get the start and pick up a ton of playing time tonight against the Blazers.  Kenneth Faried went out late last night with a scary neck injury, and although it looks like he avoided catastrophic injury, I’d expect Arthur to pick up plenty of minutes in the near future.  He’s a roll of the dice since he can produce double-double type numbers, but he can also virtually disappear at times. ∗∗
