The 2016 NFL Mock Draft following Week 17 of the season.

Here we are: the end of the National Football League’s 2016 regular season. It’s been a long, strange trip, but boy was it worth it. Let’s take a moment to reflect, shall we.

At one point in the year the Atlanta Falcons looked unbeatable, the Buffalo Bills appeared like legitimate playoff contenders and the Pittsburgh Steelers looked to be left for dead and ravaged by injuries. Spin forward to the Week 17 fallout and we realize that the Falcons and Bills were merely fools’ gold up-and-comers, while the Steelers can never be counted out.

For all but 12 playoff teams eyes now turn toward the NFL Draft. The grind is over, and it’s time to reset, retool and improve. It’s 2016; hope springs eternal.

This year’s draft class proves to be one of the deepest in recent memory. While last year was top-heavy, and the one prior was flush with quarterback talent, the 2016 NFL Draft class skews strongly toward the offensive line, defensive line and defensive backfield. There’s also a plethora of wide receiver talents that will be playmakers for many years to come.

So, without further ado let’s get to the 2016 NFL Mock Draft: Immediate Fallout Edition. Buckle your seatbelt, because it’s about to get really real.
