OT. Ole Miss. Laremy Tunsil. 1. player. 35.
For the second consecutive season the Tennessee Titans will be drafting with a top-two pick. Last year they reeled in a franchise quarterback with Marcus Mariota; this year they go after an offensive lineman to protect the young quarterback.

Laremy Tunsil is on the shortlist for best pure player in the 2016 NFL Draft, but he’s unquestionably the top offensive lineman entering the league. Tunsil came to Ole Miss as a part of Hugh Freeze’s heralded class that revitalized the long-dormant SEC school. During his three years with the Rebels he protected the likes of Bo Wallace and Chad Kelly, and helped anchor what would become one of the league’s more dynamic offenses.

When he was afforded protection, Mariota proved himself a dynamic playmaker. As the season wore on he beat teams with both his legs and his arm. Yet throughout the grind of the year he also found himself getting banged to all get out. Tunsil will immediately seal the pocket for Mariota and provide much-needed stability for a team that must face a tough Houston Texans defense twice a year.

Tunsil has great footwork, and as he works with professional strength and conditioning coaches will develop more power to really jump off the blocks and battle defensive lineman. Tennessee sprints to the podium for this pick.
