123.
So, that’s over, right?!

This is most certainly the thought process among most Dallas Cowboys fans and rightfully so. Their regular season came to an end on Sunday with a loss to the division champion Washington Redskins, giving them a record of 4-12 to finish up with. So, again, the misery for Cowboys fans is over after this team was believed to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

But, for as bad as the season was, there were reasons for that, mainly injuries. Tony Romo missing most of the season did not help in any form or fashion, and it also wasn’t all that helpful to have Dez Bryant hurt as well. When these two were gone, there were never really any clear, effective replacements and the wheels came off in Dallas.

Still, if there’s a silver lining in all of this it’s the fact that with the sloppy finishing record, they will get a nice draft pick out of the deal to try and help fill some of the other holes on the field — and there are some, especially on defense. So the hope here could be that Romo and Bryant come back 100 percent healthy next year, a few draft picks plug in and they could get things right back on track in Big D.

For now, though, you can rest easy, Cowboys fans. The nightmare has ended.
. (4-12). Previous: . Dallas Cowboys. 29. team
