DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 6
High Value C
Jonas Valanciunas-Toronto Raptors (5,100): Valanciunas played the most minutes since his injury when Toronto faced the Cavs on Monday and he finished with nine points and eight rebounds giving him at least 22 fantasy points in each of his last four games. As he keeps getting healthier and back to full strength, his production should go up, and he’s in a great matchup for just that tonight against the Nets who allow more fantasy points to opposing centers than any other team in the NBA. ∗∗∗
Jeff Withey-Utah Jazz (4,600): Withey will continue to fill in for Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert up front, and he’s worth a look tonight even in a tough matchup against the Spurs. He has at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games and has been contributing just about a double-double with multiple blocks in each game. The Spurs allow the secong-fewest fantasy points to opposing centers, but since Withey should be lined up for 30+ minutes again he’s a great value under 5K regardless of the matchup. ∗∗∗∗∗
