High Salary SG

DeMar DeRozan-Toronto Raptors (8,100): While there is some danger of a blowout, DeRozan should be set up for a good game tonight against the Nets who allow the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG.  In his last ten games, DeRozan has at least 31 fantasy points eight times while reaching the 40-fanatsy-point plateau four times.  In those ten games, DeRozan has averaged 25.8 points, 4.4 assists. 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steal per game. His matchup and his upside make him the most expensive SG I’d look at today.

Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (7,100): Barton’s former team (and definitely fatigue) finally slowed his impressive run as he burned owners with a 10.5 fantasy-point game on Sunday night.  Barton had run off three straight games before that with at least 43 fantasy points coming off the bench for Denver.  With Emmanuel Mudiay and Danilo Gallinari back, his offensive workload may diminish a bit moving forward, but he has at least 34 fantasy points in six of his last nine and is in a good matchup against the T-Wolves tonight who he posted 14 points, seven rebounds, and five assists against when the teams last met in mid-December.

Dwyane Wade-Miami Heat (6,900): Wade was sick for a couple of games but showed he’s fully recovered on Monday with 27 points, eight boards, and three assists against the Pacers to finish with a total of 43.5 fantasy points. He has at least 36 fantasy points in each of his last four full-strength games, and he’ll be ready to welcome the Knicks  to South Beach.  In his two previous games this season against New Yrok, Wade has averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. ∗∗∗∗

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,400): On the flip side of Barton’s matchup with the Wolves, Wiggins will look to keep his game rolling against the Nuggets.  He has at least 25 fantasy points in six straight games with three 30+ performances in his last four contests.  He averaged 21 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in the teams’ three earlier meetings but his non-scoring numbers have been on the rise lately and he has been a solid contributor for a young T-Wolves team showing some nice upside.
