High Value PF

Ryan Anderson-New Orleans Pelicans (5,600): Anderson has been chipping in nice numbers off the Pelicans bench with at least 16 points in four of his last five games and seven of his last ten.  He had 30 fantasy points on Saturday against the Mavs with 16 points and eight rebounds and has averaged 20.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists against Dallas in his three matchups with them this season.  When you add in the fatigue of Dallas playing just one night after a double-overtime game, I like Anderson to have another good game against the Mavs and be a nice play at under 6K at PF even though he’s coming off the bench.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (5,200): While I don’t love Thompson’s matchup against the Wizards tonight, he’s been a double-digit rebounding machine lately for the Cavs and getting extra playing time at center as a result.  He comes into play today off of back-to-back double-doubles with at least 26 fantasy points in each contest. His lack of offensive firepower caps his ceiling, but he’s playing with the Cleveland starting five who I think will get lots of run as they try to avenge their loss to Washington earlier this season.

Cody Zeller-Charlotte Hornets (5,200): With Al Jefferson out again for an extended period of time, look for Zeller to keep piling up big minutes.  He has at least 22 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games and even managed eight points and ten boards against the Warriors on Monday.  The Suns front court rotation has been a mess all season, so hopefully Zeller can put together another solid performance tonight in the desert.

Patrick Patterson-Toronto Raptors (3,700): Going cheap at PF is a risky strategy almost any night, but tonight there is little reliable under 5K. Patterson is one option to look at, though, as he continues to come off the bench for Toronto.  Patterson has at least  15 fantasy points in five of his last six games and seven of his last nine.  He can catch fire which gives him upside and should get 20+ minutes of run tonight against the Cavs.
