High Salary C

Sidney Crosby- Pittsburgh Penguins ($7,100): Crosby had another huge game Tuesday night with a goal and an assist against the Blackhawks. He’s now got a four-game goal streakand six goals in his last six games and 12 points in the last nine games. Crosby is rolling and can officially be considered a fantasy stud once again. Take him tonight in a rematch with Chicago.

Nathan MacKinnon-Colorado Avalanche ($6,800): MacKinnon is currently dealing with a three-game pointless streak, but don’t let that keep you away. He’s a very talented center with 13 goals and 20 assists this season. Prior to his current drought MacKinnon had a hat trick on December 28 against San Jose. His price isn’t super-high considering the production he can give you. MacKinnon makes a good target tonight.

Jonathan Toews-Chicago Blackhawks ($6,100): Toews continued his streak of good play on Tuesday night with an assist against Pittsburgh. He now has a four-game point streak and five points in his last six games. He is currently performing like a top center but won’t cost you quite as much. He’ll go up against the same Penguins tonight, but this time it’ll be on the road. make sure that Toews is in your lineup.

High Value C

Leo Komarov-Toronto Maple Leafs ($4,300): Komarov has quietly been a bright spot for the Maple Leafs this season with 15 goals and 12 assists in 37 games. He’s riding a two-game point streak with three assists in that time. He’s on Toronto’s top line and gets plenty of ice time. Komarov needs to be in your lineup tonight.

David Desharnais-Montreal Canadiens ($3,700): Desharnais is a great value play tonight thanks to his recent production. He shone on the big stage on January 1 with a goal in the Winter Classic and has two points in his last three games. He has struggled for much of the year but seems to be turning it around now. He should still have a low ownership number, increasing his value in daily fantasy hockey.

Lee Stempniak-New Jersey Devils ($4,200): Stempniak has cooled off since his shot start to the season but he still holds value for daily fantasy lineups. He can show up on the scoresheet at a decent rate and has 28 points in 40 games. Stempniak has seen his average of fantasy points dip below three, something that should keep his ownership down, and that’s good if you choose to use him. He’s got two points in his last four games and will look to do some damage against Montreal tonight.
