Tonight isn’t a very busy night around the NHL with just five games scheduled. Three of the games will drop the puck during the late wave with just two games happening in the first part of the evening.
New Jersey meets Montreal in a battle of two teams separated by just two points now in the Eastern Conference. Both teams lost their last time out but it has been Montreal that has fallen more than any team. The Canadiens, once perched at the top of the conference, now reside in the sixth spot.
The 8:00 p.m. ET game is an interesting one, as it’s a rematch of Tuesday night. The Chicago Blackhawks knocked off the Pittsburgh Penguins at home Tuesday night for their fourth straight victory. Now, the teams will meet again in the second half of a home-and-home. There will be no shortage of fantasy firepower in that game.
If you are only interested in the late games DraftKings has contests that only feature those games.
St. Louis highilights the six teams in action during the nightcap. The Blues are just one point out of second place in the Western Conference and take on a Colorado team that offers some surprise fantasy targets.
