The Colts need to do something to help their running game get going. Depending on what kind of salary Lynch is seeking, Beast Mode could help the Colts offense become more balanced. The Colts averaged just 3.6 yards per carry last season, the second worst mark in the NFL. While Lynch only averaged 3.8 yards per carry, should the Colts improve their offensive line, Lynch could be a nice bargain for them.

Lynch likely can’t handle a majority of the carries anymore because age has finally caught up to him. He wouldn’t need to handle most of the carries in Indianapolis with Frank Gore. Lynch would be a very solid third down option and also serve as a valuable backup in case Gore gets injured or Gore starts showing the wear and tear of so many carries and hits.

Lynch might not be a fast or versatile back at this stage in his career, but with a revamped offensive line, a tandem Lynch and Gore would do wonders for the Colts offense and help them be more balanced. Their offense needs to be more balanced if they want to win a Super Bowl. Signing Marshawn Lynch would be a bold move by the Colts, but the Colts need to be making bold moves if they want to win a Super Bowl.
