New Jersey Devils troll Islanders fan on scoreboard (Photo)
The New Jersey Devils had no chill as they trolled an Islanders fan during a recent game
Scoreboard operators often don’t get much love in the NHL unless you’re the scoreboard operator of the Dallas Stars. However, recently the New Jersey Devils scoreboard operator went after an Islanders fan during a recent game between the Devils and the Ottawa Senators. An Islanders fan thought that he could represent his Islanders at a Devils-Senators game. New Jersey’s scoreboard operator put him in his place.
Grade A trolling there by the New Jersey Devils scoreboard operator. He gets extra credit for turning the poor guy into a meme. And the Islanders fan had it coming. Why in the world would you wear an Islanders jersey to a hockey game between the Devils and Senators? You deserve to get called out and ridiculed on the scoreboard if you do that.
The Devils won the game 6-3. They got four goals and ten points combined from forwards Kyle Palmieri, Joseph Blandisi, and Travis Zajac. Palmieri had two goals while Zajac was the first star with a goal and three assists for four points. Blandisi had his first NHL goal and added two assists as well.
