How much NFL cap space does your team have?

With the National Football League season winding down, the attention will soon turn to the offseason and the free agency blitz. Each team finds itself in a different situation, with some having ample room to add pieces while some will need to cut players to simply be compliant with the cap. Free agency starts on March 9, while teams can begin contacting free agents outside their organization on March 7.

Here’s the breakdown for each team, assuming the salary cap is $150 million. Per Over the Cap:

Incredibly, three teams are already over the salary cap at that projection in the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. All of those tams will either have to release players or restructure contracts, with the Saints likely having to part ways with receiver Marques Colston. Miami might already need to address Ndamukong Suh’s deal, after he was given $118 million over six years last offseason.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Jacksonville Jaguars have the most money and must make some impact signings. Last year, the Jaguars were aggressive but underwhelming, landing Julius Thomas, Devon House, Jermey Parnell and Dan Skuta. The Oakland Raiders are also on the precipice of becoming a fringe contender, and have over $67 million in cap space to get better.
