High Salary W

Patrick Sharp-Dallas Stars ($7,000): Sharp is having a fantastic season in Dallas but he’s being a bit overshadowed by all of the potent weapons that surround him. Sharp has quietly gone about his business and is up to 16 goals and 23 assists through 49 games. He was held pointless in his last game but has been on fire over the last few weeks with 14 points in 15 games. You can’t go wrong right now with Sharp, especially against an opponent that’s struggled against left wingers.

Max Pacioretty-Montreal Canadiens ($7,200): Pacioretty hasn’t registered a point in his last two games but he’s a very talented player and can get enough shots on goal to still put up fantasy points with an average of 4.1 per game. He gets to play against Columbus tonight, a team ranked 22nd in points allowed to opposing left wingers.

Jamie Benn-Dallas Stars ($8,600): Benn is easily one of the best wingers in the NHL right now and he leads all available wingers tonight with 4.9 fantasy points a game. With 27 goals and 30 assists he can usually be counted on to put up some big numbers each night. He’s got five points in the last six games and gets a favorable matchup with Calgary tonight.

High Value W

Jiri Hudler-Calgary Flames ($4,000): Hudler missed some time recently due to a groin injury but he seems to be over that issue now. He picked up a goal last night and now has three points over his last three games. Hudler surely isn’t one that can be counted on to light up the scoreboard, but he can make for a nice sleeper pick in terms of fantasy hockey. He’ll likely have a low ownership number tonight, something that makes him even more valuable.

Tobias Rieder-Arizona Coyotes ($4,600): Rieder has been a nice source of production this year both for his team and for his fantasy owners. He’s averaging three fantasy points a game with 10 goals and 19 assists this season. He dished out an assist in his last game and has six points over his last seven games. He gets a decent matchup with Minnesota tonight and is a solid target at winger.

Ales Hemsky-Dallas Stars ($3,600): If you’re looking for a deep sleeper pick tonight that won’t be highly owned then look no further than Ales Hemsky. He has just 16 points this season but has really turned things around lately. After missing six games with an injury the veteran winger has made a strong return with points in three of the five games he’s been in since coming back. Take him tonight and hope he keeps it going against Calgary, the 29th-ranked team against right wingers.
