High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,800): The concept the tWestbrook can’t be fantasy beast while Kevin Durant is on the floor is definitely a thing of the past as the Thunder PG has been one of the most consistent star options in the NBA lately.  Westbrook has at least 48 fantasy points in six of his last seven games and is coming off a big double-double on Wednesday against the Timberwolves when he totaled 52.1 fantasy points on 24 points, 16 assists, and eight rebounds.  He also had a double-double against the Rockets the first time the Thunder played Houston this season posting 25 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds.  Westbrook costs a lot and will probably have to deal with Patrick Beverley, but he is so dialed in that he’s still a pretty good play with the only risk in taking him being that he costs so much.

Chris Paul-Los Angeles Clippers (9,900): No team gives up more fantasy points to opposing PG than the Lakers by a wide margin and Chris Paul and the Clippers will be ready to be home after a five-game trip east which included some pretty major distractions and a 3-2 record.  CP3 had at least 41 fantasy points in five straight games before a down night in Atlanta on Wednesday, but he’s in a great place to bounce back tonight against the defensively-challenge Lakers playing on the second night of a back-to-back and dealing with numerous back court injuries.

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (8,000): IT4 continues to be the key piece in the Boston offense and is in a good matchup tonight against the Magic.  He had a slow game on Wednesday as the Celtics picked up their fourth straight win, but he had at least 33 fantasy points in seven of his previous nine games.  He had his string of six straight 20+ point games snapped on Wednesday, and he’ll look to get back in the groove tonight against Orlando.  He is questionable with an ankle issue, but at this point he is still expecting to play.

Reggie Jackson-Detroit Pistons (7,100): Jackson and the Pistons look to beat the Cavs for the second time in as many tries tonight at The Palace tonight. Jackson had 23 points, 12 assists, and six rebounds against Cleveland in their first meeting of the season back on November 17 before Kyrie Irving returned.  Even with Kyrie though, Cleveland’s PG defense isn’t great, and Jackson comes into this gam with some pretty good form having posted at least 32 fantasy points in five of his last seven games including scoring 29 and 27 points in his last two contests.  Look for him to produce over 30 fantasy points again tonight with the potential for more if he can keep the game competitive and tight throughout.
