5. Phoenix Suns

The Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns could be the absolute ideal partners on a trade for Taj Gibson. Both teams could provide each other with what exactly the other needs. The Suns need more toughness up front to fit Ryan McDonough’s vision from his days in Boston and the Bulls could use more scoring touch.

The Suns could provide the Bulls a big man who wants out in Markieff Morris. When Morris is on and in a place that he feels comfortable he can succeed, then he succeeds quite well. In Chicago, there’s no doubt that Morris would succeed and he’d be even closer to his brother in Detroit and not too long of a plane ride from his hometown of Philadelphia.

He’d finally be free from Phoenix and the Suns would be getting a quality player up front that along with Tyson Chandler, could provide some more toughness to a very young team that could certainly soak in and take lessons from two guys up front who aren’t afraid to get physical.

The deal between the Bulls and Phoenix would be a really easy one-for-one match and it’s one that both teams would seriously have to consider. The good thing about Morris is that he has an edge as well and has never been afraid to get a technical or mix it up so the Bulls would be keeping that edge.

This is a deal that makes a lot of sense.
