4. Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz have done of the best jobs in the NBA in accumulating young talent over recent drafts. The young Jazz players have flexed their muscles and have developed into nice players. With a ton of young talent across the board and the salary cap about to spike the Jazz find themselves in a good position.

With that spike in the salary cap comes bigger contracts when the young guys are up for them and that could mean the Jazz cashing in their chips for a player already on an established contract. The Jazz thought they were going to take the next step this year and jump into the playoff chase.

While they aren’t out of it yet, they certainly haven’t had the start to the season that they would like. A lot of that is because of key injuries to key young players. If the Jazz want to make a playoff push and really set themselves up with a competitive team in the future, jumping in the Kevin Love chase could prove beneficial.

They have the pieces to give the Cleveland Cavaliers what they want, and a deal centered around Love for Derrick Favors and Alec Burks would match salaries and give the Cavaliers a dynamic young power forward and a great young scorer.

The Jazz would be getting a great power forward to slide in next to Rudy Gobert and they would have a dominant front court to go with Gordon Hayward, Dante Exum and everyone else in the backcourt in the future.
