High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (11,00): Westbrook costs a ton, but he’s been so productive lately its easy to see why owners would spend 11K on him.  Westbrook had a triple-double on Friday against Houston finishing with 26 points, 14 assists, ten boards, a block, and a steal for a total of 64.5 fantasy points. He has at least 53 fantasy points in six of his last seven games and has scored at least 24 points in each of his last four while handing out double-digit assists in three straight.  Tonight, he’ll duel John Wall, and I think a well-rested Westbrook gets the best of this matchup.

Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (8,700): Lowry had an unusual line on Saturday against the Pistons finishing with zero assists but still posting 33.5 fantasy points on 18 points, three steals, and eight rebounds.  Lowry was coming off a double-double wth 26 points and ten assists so the goose-egg is a strange outlier for him.  Lowry is in a great matchup tonight against the Nuggets who allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing PG, so look for him to bounce back with a big game if he continues to play an incredibly heavy workload for Toronto. His matchup is enough to overlook his off game on Saturday, but he is still risky given that he costs almost 9K.

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans (7,400): Even with Tyreke Evans out on Saturday, Holiday only played 24 minutes against the Nets.  In good news for his owners he scored 26 points and added seven assists in those 24 minutes to total 36.5 fantasy points. He has at least that many fantasy points in each of his last four games and in seven of his last eight.  Holiday has become a solid enough option to consider even when Evans is in the lineup, but he does carry more scoring responsibility when Tyreke is sidelined. Holiday should have a good game tonight against the Grizz. With Evans-∗ No Evans-

Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (6,600): Kyrie is starting to find his rhythm after a long layoff and has played over 32 minutes in each of his last two games while posting over 34 fantasy points in each of those contests.  He had 28 points and 37.5 fantasy points against the Pistons on Friday and followed that with 21 points and six assists on his way to 34.75 fantasy points against the Spurs in primetime on Saturday.  Tonight as the Cavs visit the Pacers, Irving should be able to continue his return to form in what should be an up-tempo, high-scoring game.
