High Salary PG

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (9,200): Lillard’s long-range shot is still not at full strength, but he managed to score 21 points on Sunday against Minnesota and finish with 39.5 fantasy points.  He has at least that many in each of his last four games and contributes good numbers most nights.  He’ll take on the Bucks tonight in Portland who come in on the back of their back-to-back so look for Lillard to take advantage of any fatigue they may show as he piles up good numbers tonight.

Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (8,700): Lowry was not good at all last night in Denver and the whole Raptors team suffered a major letdown after their 11 game winning streak.  Lowry only managed ten points, two rebounds, and two assists in his 32 minutes in what should have been a good matchup.  He’ll look to bounce back tonight against the Suns who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG. He’s risky given his last few games, but his matchup and potential still make him an option worth looking at for tonight.

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (7,500): Thomas has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last nine games including Sunday night in Orlando when he had 23 points to go with four boards, four assist, and two steals for a total of 39 fantasy points. Thomas is in a good matchup tonight against the Knicks who he averaged 27.5 points, 7.0 assists, and 5.5 rebounds against in their two meetings earlier this season. Thomas is playing slightly fewer minutes with Marcus Smart stepping up off the bench, but he’s still running the show with Boston’s first team offense and is a good play against the Knicks.

Ricky Rubio-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,500): Rubio has at least eight assists in each of his last six games and added 15 points and three steals to his nine helpers on Sunday in Portland.  He finished that contest with 40 fantasy points and has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last five games.  He is in a great matchup against the Lakers tonight who allow the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG.  Rubio has already lit them up twice averaging 16.5 points, 13.0 assists, and 5.5 rebounds in their first two meetings this year.  Rubio is an unreliable scoring threat, but against the Lakers he’s a very solid fantasy option tonight.
