After Aqib Talib got away with a taunting penalty, he cost his team by holding Philly Brown’s facemask.

Aqib Talib’s play so far is costing his team the game. He’s been matched up with Philly Brown and has committed two crucial penalties so far. The first, a taunting, didn’t result in anything, but his face mask got the Panthers to a first-and-goal within the 1-yard line resulting in an easy score for the Carolina Panthers:

Talib is being totally undisciplined, and Kubiak should not be tolerating his behaviour any longer. Twitter agrees that he’s putting the Broncos in a bad spot so far:

In Goodell’s State of the League address, he suggested a rule change in which two personal fouls would result in an ejection. The Broncos’ defensive depth is good enough that Kubiak could conceivably bench Talib, which he deserves. Unless he is reminded of what’s at stake, things are only going to go from bad to worse for the Broncos.
