35.
In the interest of full disclosure, I do not think that Tunsil is the best player in this draft. However, Tunsil possesses every tool that you can possibly ask for in a left tackle of the future, and the Titans happen to have a desperate need at that position.

Tennessee is already set with Marcus Mariota under center for the next several years, and with former Michigan OT Taylor Lewan ideally profiling as a right tackle, Tunsil is a real fit in this spot. It is always nice to pair up an elite left tackle with an elite quarterback, and in Tennessee, that would certainly be the hope in this spot.

The Titans couldn’t go wrong with a pick of Ohio State DL Joey Bosa at number one, and if Tennessee is bowled over by a trade offer from a team looking to secure a big-time quarterback, they would be a prime suspect to move out of the selection. However, as it stands today, Tunsil makes the most sense when considering positional need, and given that his talent is certainly worthy of the pick at a pedigree position, the Titans select the former Ole Miss star here and Mariota cackles with glee.
.
