DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 9
High Value PG
Deron Williams-Dallas Mavericks (5,700): DWill showed no signs of the hip contusion that cost him almost two full games as he posted 22 points and 11 assists against the Grizzlies on Saturday for a massive 45.5 fantasy points. He has at least 36 fantasy points in three of his last eight full games, and he’ll be in a good matchup tonight against the Jazz who won’t have Trey Burke and will be forced to give lots of time to rookie Raul Neto. The Mavs need more of the Williams they got last game, so look for him to try to take his game to the next level for coach Rick Carlisle and owner Mark Cuban as they try to get this team steered the right direction. ∗∗
Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (5,400): Dragic posted a nice game on Sunday afternoon totaling 30.25 fantasy points on 17 points, five boards, and five assists. He has at least 27 fantasy points in three of his last four highlighted by a near triple-double against the Hornets when he finished with 39.5 fantasy points. He’ll probably get lots of time on the floor tonight against the Spurs, and since the game isn’t in San Antonio he may actually have some space to operate. If Kawhi Leonard focuses on shutting down D-Wade, Dragic may actually end up carrying more of the offensive load than usual which makes him a solid option to consider under 6K. ∗∗∗
Raul Neto-Utah Jazz (3,600): With Trey Burke out tonight, Neto will get all the time at the point he can handle. On Saturday, Neto has 13 points, four assists, and two boards for a total of 23 fantasy points in a very busy 37 minutes. He has scored in double digits in three of his last four games and has at least 19 fantasy points in each of his last five. The Brazilian rookie is still not as dynamic a scorer as Burke, but while Burke is out, Neto is a steal at this price. ∗∗∗∗∗
