High Salary SG

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (7,800): Thompson has been coasting along watching Steph’s massive fantasy outputs, but tonight would seem to be the night for him to attack his matchup and help the Warriors beat the Rockets.  Houston allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing SG, and Thompson tore them up when the two teams last met. In that game, Curry was out, but Thompson stepped up with 38 points, seven rebounds, and blocked shot to help the Warriors avoid back-to-back losses in Texas. Thompson’s price has dropped quite a bit, and he still has the explosive potential to carry your team entirely on any give night.  Given the matchup and how high-scoring I think the late game will be, Thompson could end up being a great bargain at this rate.

Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (6,700): Middleton always plays a ton of minutes for coach Jason Kidd, and Kidd will need him to rise to the challenge of facing the Celtics tonight.  The Bucks haven’t played since Friday, so Middleton should be fresh.  He has slowed down a little from his frenetic pace in early and mid January, but he has scored at least 18 points in each of his last two games and has at least 30 fantasy points in eight of his last ten. The matchup and his recent form keep him from a higher ranking, but he does have enough potential to take a long look at tonight.∗∗∗

Bradley Beal-Washington Wizards (6,100): Beal may still be limited with the minutes he can play, but he is proving he’s a reliable option when he is on the floor for Washington.  He has scored at least 18 points in each of his last four games and has 28.75 fantasy points, 30.25 fantasy points, and 30 fantasy points in hie last three.  As he continues to stretch his minutes out, his price will rise, but for now enjoy the discounted rate and play him against the Knicks tonight.

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (6,000): Hood has been impressive for the few people outside of Salt Lake City who have noticed the Jazz recent surge. Utah has won six straight, and they’ll look to make it seven as they take on the Mavericks tonight in Dallas.  Hood has been a big part of their success and has really stepped up after Alec Burks was lost to injury.  Hood has at least 19 points in six of his last seven games and has at least 29 fantasy points in each of those contests as well. He will have to deal with Wes Matthews tonight which isn’t an easy matchup, but Hood has ben hot enough lately that you can use him in almost any matchup especially since his one recent “dud” came against the Nuggets when he just couldn’t get any shots to fall not when he was locked down by a good defender. ∗∗
