10. KJ Dillon – West Virginia

KJ Dillon is a boom-or-bust type talent in this year’s draft. He has plenty of talent and isn’t afraid to lay the big hit on opposing players, but he occasionally whiffs and also has iffy tackling technique.

The good news is that he’s very good against the run. While his tackling might not always be sound, he does a good job of disrupting the run game and has no problem blowing through tacklers with his strength.

While he might be a physical player, he’s also sound against the pass as well and can break up passes on occasion. If there’s a knock against Dillon, it might be his speed.

He’s been exposed in coverage a couple of times by offenses that have stretched the field and targeted him real deep. He struggles against vertical offenses and teams will look to send burners by him. Also if he misses on the big hit, it could potentially open huge plays for the opposing offenses.

However, if he can keep the play in front of him, he’ll have a great shot at stopping plays on the field. Teams will likely target Dillon in the middle rounds of the 2016 NFL Draft.
