Garry Vitti has jokes.

Potentially cruel, undeniably hysterical jokes.

The longtime Los Angeles Lakers trainer apparently has this thing where, every year, he leads a player to think he was traded. This season’s victim? Robert Sacre:

It’s pretty gutsy of Vitti to subtly misinform a professional athlete in his physical prime who is almost 25 years his junior. It’s also flat-out hysterical.

If Sacre had any sort of response, we don’t know what it was. Maybe he’ll strike back later on, showering Vitti in some spoiled, but totally organic, chocolate milk. That would show him.

On a completely unrelated note, general manager Mitch Kupchak has no plans to trade Kobe Bryant:

Consider my mind melted.

As a proper sendoff, Vitti should try hoodwinking Kobe into believing the Lakers are shipping him “home,” to Philly, in exchange for the Philadelphia 76ers’ entire roster. Or something.
