5. Chicago Bulls

If there’s a team in the NBA that always seems to just have the worst luck when it comes to injuries, it is the Chicago Bulls that are the unfortunate benefactor of all that luck.

The Bulls have dealt with injuries to just about every position this season, but no position has been hit worse than their depth up front.

Nikola Mirotic is coming back off an appendectomy and he should be fine going forward, but they’re without Joakim Noah because of a shoulder injury and they could certainly use more depth up front, instead of having to rely on rookie Bobby Portis.

If and when Lee becomes available after the waiver process, the Bulls should put in a call to see if they can get Lee on the roster. While he won’t provide anything spectacular, he should be able to provide them solid minutes off the bench and be able to spell Pau Gasol and not force him to play minutes that are going to run him down before the playoffs even begin.

The Bulls are practically going to be limping into the postseason if they make it and when they get there, they’re going to need fresh legs. Lee hasn’t put many minutes on his legs this season and will be a far more fresh option than most options available.
