High Salary PG

Stephen Curry-Golden State Warriors (10,700): Curry has scored at least 23 points in each of his last six games and has at least 45 fantasy points in each of those contests.  He fell just one assist short of a double-double in Golden State’s win in LA on Saturday while scoring 23 points to help Golden State bounce back from a loss after they fell to Portland to start the second half.  Curry always has the potential to carry your team to fantasy glory Anthony Davis-style, but he’s a very pricey investment tonight meaning he comes with a pretty substantial amount of risk.

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (7,800): The Celtics’ All-Star has played exceptional all season and has shown no signs of slowing down including totaling 51.25 fantasy points last night against the Nuggets in just 32 minutes.  He has at least 22 points in five of his last six games and has posted double-digit assists in two of his las three contests.  He has at least 38 fantasy points in each of his last three games and four of his last five.  IT4 is a great play when you add his current form to a great matchup tonight in Minnesota where he’ll face the T-Wolves who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing PG so far this season.

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (6,200): The Heat have been almost impossibly short-handed to start the second half with Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Hassan Whiteside all missing time. However, they’ve gotten a pair of wins in those two games thanks in large part to exceptional play from Goran Dragic.  Dragic had 17 points, ten assists, and four steals for 46.25 fantasy points against the Hawks on Friday and followed that with 27 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds for 46.75 fantasy points against the Wizards on Saturday. Dragic has excelled while Bosh and Wade have been out and should be able to keep things going tonight against the Pacers if both are out again tonight. With no Wade-∗ With Wade-

Michael Carter-Williams-Milwaukee Bucks (6,000): MCW continues to come off the bench for the Bucks, but his playing time hasn’t been affected very much overall and he’s in a great matchup tonight.  He played 38 minutes Saturday against the Hawks and had 38.75 fantasy points on 17 points, nine rebounds, three blocks, and two assists.  He should be in a place to produce again tonight since he’ll be taking on the Lakers who have given up more fantasy points to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA.  MCW has at least 32 fantasy points in three of his four games coming off the bench and at least 30 in six of his last eight overall.  I think he’s a safe, low-risk play in such a good matchup tonight. ∗∗

Jeff Teague-Atlanta Hawks (6,000): While the Lakers have given up the most fantasy points to opposing PG so far this season, the Warriors have actually given up more fantasy points to opposing PG over their last five games than any other team in the NBA.  Part of that is skewed by Damian Lillard’s explosion, but still it shows they can give up good fantasy nights to their opponent.  Teague had a horrible game on Saturday playing just 18 minutes and finishing with 15.5 fantasy points, but before that he had run off four straight games with at least 33 fantasy points and even posted 53.75 fantasy points in his first game of February which came against the Mavs.
