DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 22
My DraftKings daily picks can help you build your fantasy basketball roster for the Monday, February 22 which has seven solid NBA matchups.
It was a huge weekend for the NBA with a monster Friday night, a solid Saturday slate, and a full day of great performances and fun games yesterday. After the All Star break left us with no hoops last week, this week there are seven games to get the work week going including a solid NBA TV double-header. With 14 teams in action, there is a solid pool of players to pull from as you assemble your DFS fantasy basketball lineup. To see all the players I like for tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

The first game tonight tips at 7:00 PM ET when the Cavs look to pick up a second win in as many days as they face the Pistons who are also on a back-to-back after being crushed by Anthony Davis yesterday. At 7:30, two more games get underway as the Pacers travel to Miami to try and beat the Heat while the Knicks welcome the Raptors to Madison Square Garden. In the three games that start at 8:00, the T-Wolves host the Celtics who play their third road game in the last four nights, the Warriors take on the Hawks, and the Bucks welcome in the Lakers. The late game of the night completes the NBA TV double-header as the Clippers host the Suns in the game everyone will be watching as the DraftKings competitions wrap up for the evening.
If you’re looking for some help with your roster for tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides where you’ll find my favorite stars and sleepers for this evening. In this post, you’ll find two slides per position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible (which is all over the place today). I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
At the beginning of 2016, I started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition.
In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring. If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our Fansided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section. Make sure to check back between 6:00-7:00 for any last-minute tweaks to get your lineup fine-tuned and avoid the burn of starting someone who ends up with a big, fat zero.
