DeMarcus Cousins throws down left-handed slam on Nuggets (Video)
Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins threw down a nasty left-handed slam on the Denver Nuggets.
If it’s been said once, it needs to be said again, if DeMarcus Cousins is rolling in the lane, it’s best to just get out of the way. Not only will he throw down the big jam, but he can do it with any hand. Against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, the Sacramento Kings’ center took on Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried and won easily.
It looked like Faried might be able to put a body on Cousins, but he pulled out the sick off-hand slam and threw it right down for the dunk.
Cousins’ finesse and skill around the rim is nothing new, but to see him put down a dunk with an off-hand while going up against a physical body in Faried is really impressive. After Cousins finished off the slam, his teammates on the bench got so fired up that they had a big celebration on the bench.
The two-time All-Star center is trying to show why he should be in the discussion as the best center in the NBA, and over the last couple of months, he has made a real argument for himself.
On Tuesday night, the Nuggets were the next victim for Cousins.
