High Value PF

Ryan Anderson-New Orleans Pelicans (5,800): Anderson stepped up for the Pelicans in Anthony Davis’s absence on Saturday and had a huge game with 53.8 fantasy points on 31 points and 14 rebounds. While Davis is expected to return tonight, Anderson should still remain productive even if he doesn’t get 40 minutes of playing time like he did on Saturday.  He has at least 25 fantasy points in four of his last five gams and is offering some nice scoring punch coming off the bench behind Davis. He has been getting more time due to the injury to Omer Asik, and he should be a good play tonight against the Rockets’ defense-optional approach tonight although he probably won’t quite get the numbers he reached on Saturday.

Markieff Morris-Washington Wizards (5,400): Morris and the Wizards are in Minnesota where they’ll take on Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng.  Morris played a massive 37 minutes against the 76ers in his first start for Washington and finished with 42.1 fantasy points on 16 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and a pair of steals.  He will have to play a bunch again tonight due to the size of the young Wolves up front, and I think he’ll be a very good value again tonight even though the matchup is much tougher than when he faced Philly.∗∗

Cody Zeller-Charlotte Hornets (4,500): The player who gets the good matchup with the Sixers today is Cody Zeller of the Hornets who continues to get playing time despite the return of Al Jefferson.  Zeller has at least 20 fantasy points in two of his last three games, but its his matchup that makes him worth a look if you have to go cheap tonight.

Darrell Arthur-Denver Nuggets (3,700): Arthur played 27 minutes against Memphis on Monday, and even though he only had 19.3 fantasy points it speaks well of his spot in Denver’s post-Gallinari rotation.  Against the Lakers tonight, Arthur should be able to produce solid numbers that make him worth his sub-4K salary. In his last four games, Arthur had three games over 19 fantasy points including a game with 27.1 fantasy points against Dallas and 29 fantasy points against the Kings.
