Zach LaVine steals pass and takes off for dunk (Video)
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine picked off a pass and unloaded for a monster slam against the Brooklyn Nets.
With each passing game, the amount of times that Zach LaVine takes off for a huge dunk and wows everyone increases. Against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night, LaVine flashed the defense and showed off his leaping ability, as he took off for a major slam from near the free throw line.
As Bojan Bogdanovic tried to make a risky pass across the court, LaVine read his eyes the whole way and picked off the pass like a defensive back. From there, LaVine was off to the races and decided to show off as he jumped from near the free throw line for a slam that energized the entire crowd at the Target Center.
The dunk was reminiscent of the dunks that LaVine used to defend his Slam Dunk Contest title at the All-Star Weekend Saturday Night this year. There’s not many dunkers in the NBA that have the leaping ability and explosiveness quite like LaVine does.
The Nets have had a rough night turning the ball over and LaVine made them pay here by putting them on the wrong side of a highlight.
