5. Murray isn’t a good teammate

One thing that was leaked about Murray during his time with the Dallas Cowboys was that he was a great team guy when he was the guy. A source within the Cowboys organization said that the team never regretted the decision to let their 2011 third-round pick leave and went into detail as to why.

"“The guy is a pro in his preparation and toughness and competitiveness,” said one club source. “But he’s also entitled, selfish and condescending. He’s a great ‘team’ guy when he’s the guy.”"

This kind of “me first” attitude is the worst thing that could permeate the locker room of a team as young as the Titans are. While trying to build a winning tradition with their franchise quarterback, Marcus Mariota, it could be damaging to have a guy who believes he is above the team.

Such attitude from the star player is more than simple hearsay as Murray proved that he will make waves when he isn’t happy. After being benched in Philly (he was thoroughly outplayed by Ryan Mathews) he bent the ear of owner Jeffrey Lurie in an attempt to go over head coach Chip Kelly’s head.

Murray believed the coach used him incorrectly and probably felt he could blossom with Kelly gone. Instead the Eagles moved on from both and believed Murray simply wasn’t worth what they owed him.
