High Salary C

Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (7,300): Lopez had three straight 20-point games before his maintenance day on Saturday, and he’ll look to return tonight to take on the Raptors in Toronto.  Since Joe Johnson’s departure, Lopez has been the focus of the Nets’ attack and has at least 46 fantasy points in four of his last eight games.  He is always a threat for 50+ fantasy points especially after getting an extended time off to be fresh for tonight’s matchup.∗∗

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,800): Gortat had a 16-point, 13-rebound double-double against Portland earlier this season, and he’s a good play again tonight since he has at least 40 fantasy points in two of his last four games including a big night against the Pacers on Saturday.  In that game, he only scored eight points but had a dominant 17 rebounds to go with four blocks.  Portland has struggled all season to defend opposing big men, and Gortat will look to continue that trend tonight.  His minutes have been a little inconsistent lately, but the Wizards are pushing to climb into the final playoff spot, so look for him to get plenty of playing time tonight. ∗∗
