High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (9,600): Wall had 25 points and 12 assists on Saturday in his most recent game and has four double-doubles in his last six games.  He has over 45 fantasy points in three of those five contests, and will again need to be the center of his team’s attack as they try to make their playoff push. They’ll be taking on another team in a playoff race as they face the Blazers. It’s not a great matchup for Wall, and he struggled to just nine points when he Wizards hosted Portland earlier this season.  He definitely hast the potential to go off and can’t be totally overlooked, but his matchup isn’t a great one and his recent numbers have been less than astounding.

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (9,200): Lillard is a better play tonight, in my opinion, due to his recent form, the fact that he’s at home, and the matchup against the Wizards sometimes-shaky defense.  Lillard is averaging 32.8 points, 4.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 0.9 steals over his last ten games and has scored at least 30 points in seven of those ten games.  He and the Blazers have been on the road for their last six games, but Lillard seems to always well at home and should be set up for success tonight.  He did have seven turnovers in his last game, but hopefully he can clean that up and get back to his dominant self tonight.

Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (9,000): Of all the point guards on the board tonight, the elite option in the best matchup is Kyle Lowry who takes on the Nets ho allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing PG.  He has been playing very well lately with at least 44 fantasy points in five of his last eight games, and he’s another very good option. In fact, if you’re going to stack PG–I’d do it with Lowry and Lillard not Lillard and Wall.

Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (6,000): Mudiay has been playing great lately for the Nuggets and has scored at least 16 points in three straight games after struggling with his offense for much of the season.  He has at least 37 fantasy points in each of those three games since he has continued to contribute good asset, steals, and rebounds numbers while also controlling his turnovers.  He’s finishing his rookie season in Denver strong, and he’s a nice option tonight against a Knicks team that struggles against opposing play-makers.
