The NBA has a dozen teams in action tonight with six games across the country with an emphasis on the later part of the evening. In fact, there are no games that tip off at 7:00 which gives everyone an extra 30 minutes to set their rosters before the 7:30 start time.  There are plenty of good matchups to target for tonight, so check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides to see who I think is ready to give you a big night tonight.

More from Fantasy Basketball

The night starts with the only all-Eastern Conference matchup of the day as the Raptors host the Nets in Toronto at 7:30. At 8:00, the Timberwolves take on the Spurs in a matchup of two teams on the second game of their back-to-back.  There are two games that start at 9:00 as the Knicks head to Denver and the Hawks take on the Jazz in Utah.  At 10:00, we get the battle of two star PG as Damian Lillard and the Blazers host John Wall and the Wizards, and the night closes out with the Magic in LA to take on the Lakers after pushing Golden State last night in Oakland.

With those 12 teams in action, we have a good group of options again tonight with some big stars and some value plays.  After the last few days of crazy-high total scored due to some very productive sleepers, I expect the scoring to be closer to normal tonight since most of the stars are ready to roll tonight and there aren’t any situations to monitor just yet.  To see the players I think are the best options for tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. To help you realize that goal, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
