FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 12
High Salary SG
James Harden-Houston Rockets (11,000): Harden did end up with a bit of a down game facing the solid defensive backcourt of the Celtics, but Houston still managed the win behind his 32 points and 39.6 fantasy points. Harden has been on fire in the second half and should be in a place to continue his quest for the playoffs as the Rockets play what should be a high-scoring game against the Hornets who allow the sixth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG. Houston is on the second game of their back-to-back, but as they continue their quest for the playoffs look for “The Beard” to light up Charlotte tonight. He is extremely expensive which makes him risky, but he has been playing with a high level of urgency and has at least 65 fantasy points in three of his last eight games.∗∗
Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (7,900): Middleton has become a reliable DFS option almost every night he takes the floor since he is logging such heavy minutes for the Bucks. He has produced at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last ten games with at least 36 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. He played 40 minutes against Miami on Wednesday in Milwaukee’s last game and had 22 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and a steal for 40.4 fantasy points. Tonight against the Pelicans, Middleton should have another big game lined up since no team in the NBA has given up more fantasy points to opposing SG than New Orleans. ∗∗∗∗
Victor Oladipo-Orlando Magic (7,000): Oladipo had a good night against the Kings last night scoring 18 points while adding five assists, five steals, and four rebounds for a total of 37.3 fantasy points. He has over 35 fantasy points in each of his three games since returning from a bad back and has played over 35 minutes in each of those three contests. He is a great play tonight against the Blazers since he’s carrying such a heavy portion of the Magic offense wit Elfrid Payton and Nikola Vucevic battling injury. ∗∗∗
Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (6,300): Booker is in a tough matchup against the Warriors in Oakland tonight, but he has been scoring in bunches lately with at least 27 options in four of his last five games and some pretty solid non-scoring stats as well. His emergence as a solid SG option has been one of the few bright spots in a dismal season for the Suns, and he’ll look to keep his momentum going against the defending champions tonight. Booker had 35 points and 45 fantasy points on Thursday against the Nuggets playing 44 minutes on the second night of back-to-back games. He has at least 39 fantasy points in three of his last four, and his pricing hasn’t quite caught up with his recent scoring outburst. He’s a good play tonight although the matchup is definitely not ideal. ∗∗∗
