. 2B. Texas Rangers. Rougned Odor. 25. player. 95

Rougned Odor burst onto the scene last year and became one of the best second baseman in the American League. He was recalled in June and was a part of the Rangers emergence in the AL West.  Odor posted a .781 OPS with 16 homers and 61 RBI in just 120 games.

With that kind of production, you have to wonder if he gets an extra 40 games what kind of numbers he is going to put up this coming season.

Odor was fifth among second baseman in homers, and led all second baseman in triples last year and yet didn’t have enough at-bats to qualify for the batting title because he was called back up so late.

Addison Russell was another highly touted rookie middle infielder and Odor put up better offensive numbers in every category and played in 20 fewer games.

Odor has a bright future in the game and if he continues to put up the kind of numbers he did last season, there’s no reason to think he couldn’t even be higher on this list come 2016.

The Rangers have as much middle infield depth as anyone and Odor is a big part of that.
