Who’s Hot?

Jimmie Johnson

Jimmie Johnson has been great this season. He looks like a man determined to win his seventh Sprint Cup Championship and he’s doing what he needs to do to set the tone for the rest of the field to begin this season. Johnson has won two of the first five races and he’s going to be a factor again this week.

Kevin Harvick

Kevin Harvick looked like he was going to win two weeks in a row and be the driver that everyone talked about after California. Instead, a wreck behind brought upon overtime and he just didn’t have the speed that he needed to fend off Johnson.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

After a bit of a down year, Stenhouse Jr. is showing tremendous improvement as a driver this year and more importantly, is being consistent. At the Auto Club 400, Stenhouse Jr. finished fifth and that’s huge for a driver toward making the Chase.

Joey Logano

Things haven’t been perfect for Joey Logano this season, but he’s been very good. While he’s battled his car at times, he’s been a factor in races and he’s also shown that he’s not far from being in victory lane. His first win isn’t very far away.
