Who’s Not?

Kyle Busch

For the first four races of the season, Kyle Busch was the most consistent finisher. At California, Busch was on his way to a second-place finish, but he blew a tire late in the race and that caused him to finish 25th. While he should get on the good side of things soon, it was a down week for Busch in California.

Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson is one of the talented, young drivers in NASCAR, but he’s also having major issues with consistency. At California, Larson was involved in a terrifying wreck, but luckily the safety barrier did the job that it was supposed to do and kept him safe.

Danica Patrick

Thanks to Kasey Kahne, Danica Patrick was sent airborne at California. She ended up being fine, but it was a frustrating finish for her as she tries to pick up important points. She’s going to need a great finish soon to make up for the poor ending.

Martin Truex Jr.

After almost winning the Daytona 500 this year, Martin Truex Jr. has seen his finishes drop each week since. While he’s doing fine in points, his 32nd place finish at California shows that he and his team have a lot to work on if they’re going to get things right.
