High Value PG

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (5,900): Payton slowed down a bit yesterday with just 23.9 fantasy points after a nice run of 34+ fantasy points in three of his previous four games.  He’ll be in an interesting matchup tonight against the Bucks, but his well-balanced production makes him a pretty safe play as long as he keeps getting starters minutes for the Magic.

Jose Juan Barea-Dallas Mavericks (5,300): Barea has been a beast since Deron Williams went down and has at least 24 fantasy points in six of his last eight games.  He has been even better in his last two contests with 38.7 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Monday with 18 points and 11 assists and 40.5 fantasy points against the Knicks with 26 points, seven assists, and even five rebounds.  Barea is a great play especially if Williams is officially ruled out earlier today (questionable at this point). With D-Will-No Williams-∗∗∗∗∗

Marcus Smart-Boston Celtics (4,300): Smart’s shooting has been awful this month and he has plummeted in value as a result. He should get plenty of time on the floor tonight as the Celtics will use his tenacious defense to slow down the splash brothers.  He does have at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last three games and continues to get plenty of court time and produce good non-scoring stats.  Look for him to log a heavy workload tonight and probably return value at this price even though his ceiling is limited by his limited offensive ability.

Tyler Ennis-Milauwkee Bucks-(3,700): Ennis played 23 minutes last night against the Suns and finished with 13.8 fantasy points after posting an impressive 31.8 fantasy points on Saturday against the Hornets.  Tonight, he could get the start with Jerryd Bayless hyperextending his knee last night. With O.J. Mayo, Michael Carter-Williams, and now Bayless all sidelined, Ennis could get a ton of time tonight and be productive even if Giannis Antetokounmpo runs the point on most possessions.

Jordan Farmar-Memphis Grizzlies (3,500): Farmar got his contract for the rest of the season from Memphis so he’s back in the FanDuel system for tonight’s game against the Raptors.  Farmer has been getting some good minutes for the Grizz at PG who have had their own mounting injuries at the position.  In his five games, Farmar is averaging 25.6 minutes per game and scoring 10.8 points to go with 3.6 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.8 rebounds. He has at least 15 fantasy points in each of those contests with over 22 fantasy points in two of his last three. If you need a cheap flier at PG, he’s the safest way to go despite a not-great matchup against the Raptors.
